Hi-tech is in and around us in everything that we do. It's quite amazing actually, having been in the technology industry for over 20 years to see that. 

More and more companies are branding themselves as technology companies that you wouldn't necessarily think of 20 years ago as technology. But because technology is the underpinning of everything that we do now, almost any industry you go into is going to have something associated in touching technology, and it offers a wealth of opportunities for the graduates from UC Davis.
