The Psychology of Competition


Stephen Garcia is a Graduate School of Management professor at UC Davis and an expert in the psychology of competition and decision-making. He has published extensively in top behavioral science journals. Garcia is the lead editor of The Oxford Handbook of the Psychology of Competition and serves on editorial boards for several prestigious journals. His research has been featured in major international media outlets like The Economist, The Wall Street Journal, and The New York Times. He is an Elected Fellow of the Society for Personality and Social Psychology and holds degrees from Stanford, Harvard, and Princeton.
